sequenceXtra and the web
When using Shockwave content that utilizes Xtras to function it is possible to make the browser download the appropriate Xtra automatially in the background. After the downlad is finished, the shockwave movie will start working instantly. There is no need to restart the browser. To make this happen with sequenceXtra (as with all Xtras) the author of the shockwave movie has to follow these simple steps:

First You have to edit the file named "Xtrainfo.txt" located in the Director application folder. Add the following text to the end of the file.

;SequenceXtra
[#namePPC:"SeqXtraAuthor_1_9.PPC", #nameW32:"SeqXtraAuthor_1_9.x32",
#package:"http://www.sourceforce.nu/Seqxtrapacks/sequenceXtraPack_1_9",
#info:"http://www.sourceforce.nu"]

NOTE!! the ";"(semi colon) in the beginning of the first line is a comment mark and must not be omitted (You can skip the line totally, since it´s only a reminder of what Xtra the following list corresponds to). The rest of the text (the list and the brackets) must be typed on one line. This procedure is only needed once. As soon as this info is saved in to your "Xtrainfo.txt", the procedure below is the only thing You do on every movie that uses sequenceXtra on the Internet.

When You create a Director movie, that is going to become a shockwave application: In the Director environment pull down the Modify -> Movie -> Xtras menu

This will add all information needed for the automatic download to the movie, and downloading will start if the user opens an URL that includes this shockwave movie and the user doesn´t have the Xtra installed. After a confirmation dialog, that informs the user that installation is about to take place, sequenceXtra will start functioning immediately. There is no need to restart the browser.
