The Fugue Countersubjects

This fugue utilizes two countersubjects.

CS 1 (blue) features scalar 16th notes and 8th notes (m. 3-4 alto).

CS 2 (green) is rhythmically related to CS 1 until the end, when it complements the subject (m. 7-8 alto).

The use of these countersubjects results in several examples of invertible counterpoint at the octave.
