This is a sonata-form movement which you may recognize-it's Mozart's Piano Sonata in CM, K. 545, I.

Concerning the exposition:
Describe the P theme in as great detail as possible. Focus especially on melodic characteristics, rhythm, and texture. Try to listen for different phrases.
Concerning T: is there one? If so, describe it. If not, describe how Mozart connects P and S both thematically and tonally.
The S theme seems to have three different phrases (or atleast 4-bar subsections), each of which has its own particular texture. This is followed by a brief 3-bar Klosing idea. Try your best to describe what goes on in S, focussing on different textures and melodic characteristics. Also: if the piece is in CM, what key do you suppose S is in?
The development section:
Begins with material from (choose one): P T S K
What is the tonal relationship between the end of the exposition and the beginning of the development? Relative minor Dominant Parallel minor Sub-dominant
After a brief opening, there is material handed back and forth between the hands. Describe the rhythmic and melodic characteristics of this material. From where might it be derived?
The recapitulation:
Seems pretty literal, but really it's a bit deceptive. Choose the section that sounds like it's longer:
P T S K
Can you explain how it's made longer? And why?
A tonal problem: if there's no T, then how does Mozart "adjust" things tonally in the recapitulation? A hint: when P returns, is it in the tonic key?
